One thing I wasn’t expecting myself to look forward to seeing in the UK was Plant life (lol). I remember seeing grass from the airplane and freaking out because at the time it was still snowing in Toronto. Cue wasn’t kidding when he warned us about how hot it could get in the greenhouse, though! I’m not complaining- I still wore my jacket haha~
We had high tea and the ladies running it were so adorable- that’s another thing that I noticed about Scotland, actually… the service is so amazing even though they don’t make tips! After a couple games of tag while we were in the Necropolis, we enjoyed the view at the top of the hill overlooking Glasgow (and a fire that was conveniently in the middle of our view).
We went to a small cafe called Tchai-Ovna and it was a super cute and hipster tea spot with very limited seating, but good energy 🙂 Cue brought his Monopoly go so we occupied ourselves with a couple rounds before heading off to dinner at Ubiquitous Chip for Haggis!!
And to end off the day, we did the Spicy Ramen Challenge and Bean Boozled!! Maybe it wasn’t the best idea after a meal of Haggis (which is delicious btw) but I mean.. we survived : )
