As if she stepped out of a folk-tale …

A look inspired by my cotton stems.

My favourite part of the transitioning months is that sometimes, if you’re lucky, it’s warm- which means I can pull off layering a cute outfit without having to hide under a thick coat.

Besides the seasonal change, the theme in my room has also transitioned from minimalistic to a rustic, nature-inspired and cozy look (room tour post coming soon). I recently purchased a couple cotton stems that I found at my local Dollarama and placed them in a lace-decorated jar. They definitely added such a cute accent to my room and I used them to be my source of inspiration for this look!

My favourite dungarees (that also have detachable straps) are from Zara. I love the corduroy-like texture and Japanese-styled floral design as well. I’ve never seen such a unique piece from Zara before and knew I had to grab it. Watch our Petite&Tall lookbook with Roseann where I featured this pinafore/ dungaree here!

My 3/4 chunky sweater is from Uniqlo and the mock-neck lace top underneath is actually a ruffled top from Zara as well. Unfortunately, every piece is from their 2017 collection in their respective brands, so they may not be available for purchase. But I hope I gave you some inspiration to dress a little out of your comfort zone to express your style!

*Blog update: I’m planning to start blogging weekly and posting every Sunday! I want to make it a habit for me to start expressing myself creatively and put down my thoughts somewhere whether it’s about fashion/lifestyle/ or my adventures! Please keep me accountable and here’s my links to my social media 🙂 See you next Sunday !
